OUR SERVICES

Crisis Sheltering
We provide 60–90 days of emergency pet sheltering and foster care for people experiencing crisis or temporary hardship. This program supports individuals who would otherwise be forced to surrender or permanently rehome a beloved pet. Pets stay at our boarding facility or with approved foster volunteers through our Foster Sitter network. Services are free to clients. When needed, pets receive spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchips during their stay.

Grooming
We offer free full-suite grooming services — bathing, brushing, trims/shaves (including mat removal), nail care, teeth brushing, and anal gland expression — to all our sheltering clients.
We also provide free grooming to low-income community members, with one free grooming per family every six months.

Vaccinations
We host quarterly pop-up vaccination clinics for the community, offering core vaccines for cats and dogs, microchips, food, leashes, and collars at no cost to participants.

We also provide free vaccines for unsheltered pet owners and for individuals referred by social-service agencies.

Pet Pantry
Our Pet Pantry is the largest in the state, providing free pet food and supplies to individuals and families facing financial hardship. We offer short-term support to help keep pets with the people who love them and prevent unnecessary shelter surrender.

Miscellaneous Services
We offer a range of support services to help keep pets and their people together during times of hardship. Along with emergency sheltering and our statewide pet pantry, we provide temporary pet day-camp for guardians who need to attend work, medical appointments, or court, and we connect families with essential veterinary resources through community partners.
We also engage in local and statewide advocacy to improve access to pet-inclusive services and support systems. Our goal is to reduce barriers and strengthen the human-animal bond when families need it most.
