URGENT CARE

Ruff Haven’s Urgent Care Program offers on-site veterinary care for pets in need. Services are provided by our staff and volunteer veterinarians and are designed to address urgent medical needs, such as exams, diagnostics, or treatment, when no other options are available.
 

Appointments are scheduled through a referral from case managers, outreach workers, or partner agencies. After the referral is submitted, a Ruff Haven team member will follow up with appointment details and eligibility confirmation.

Please note:

  • This program is intended for one-time urgent care only

  • It is not for routine, ongoing, or non-urgent medical issues

  • Availability is limited, and appointments are not guaranteed

SERVICES PROVIDED

  • Treatment of minor injuries

  • Coughing/sneezing

  • Stomach upset/diarrhea

  • Urinary issues

  • Ear Infections

  • Minor wound care​

  • Euthanasia

*Services will not include surgical procedures or emergency care requiring hospitalization.

Appointments are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons and include exams, basic diagnostics, and treatment for urgent medical needs.

Please note: We do not have funding for additional medical services or ongoing care.
