You may see unsheltered pets and their people and not know what the best way to offer support may be. Homelessness is not a crime. We believe all people have the right to experience the love and companionship of an animal, regardless of their financial situation. Many people feed their pet before themselves. 

We have created Emergency Pet Supply Kits you can provide to people in need. If you see someone with a pet who appears to be unhoused or transient you can offer them food and other supplies for their pet, in addition to providing resources. Please be respectful of their privacy and be aware they may decline your offer of service.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


You can pick up a cat or dog pet supply kit (or both!) completely free of charge. Please text us to set up a pick-up time at 801-251-6765. Our hours are Monday-Friday 7 AM-7 PM or Saturday 10 AM-5 PM at Ruff Haven Headquarters, located at 1370 South 400 West in Salt Lake City.
