Zia is a 6-year-old mixed breed (mostly shepherd), about 50 lbs, healthy, spayed, and house-trained. She’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and happiest being near her person. She has a lot of stamina for walks, runs, and hikes but also knows how to be calm and just relax at home. She isn't overly needy, but she is a true people lover and just wants to be nearby and warms up to strangers quickly. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and responds very well to calm, confident leadership.

Zia thrives in a peaceful, structured home with adults or older kids. She’s not a fit for homes with small children or small pets, as she can be reactive toward animals and gets anxious with unpredictable energy. She has been around dogs she knows and done well with slow introductions, but she would be happiest as the only pet.

She bonds deeply with her people and will be your most loyal companion. She deserves a stable home with someone ready to give her the calm, loving environment she needs to shine.
