Description: 

Tommy is a handsome, three-year-old, grey and white, neutered male cat. He came into our lives approximately five months ago after being found abandoned.
Temperament: He is a very affectionate, playful, high-energy, and curious cat who loves chin scratches and is not afraid to explore.

Health & Status:
Vaccinations: Up to date (veterinary documents can be provided).
Litterbox Trained: Yes.
Known Medical Issues: None that we are aware of.
Microchipped: No.

Context and Behavioral Needs
Upon finding Tommy, his health was initially declining, and he was briefly managed by Hunter Animal Control before being returned to us. We have made significant efforts to integrate him into our home, but two primary behavioral challenges have unfortunately made it impossible for us to continue providing the stable environment he deserves.
Play: Tommy has a strong tendency to "Jump scare you."  While he has not bitten for over 4 months, our current home environment puts him and us at risk. My wife is disabled and unable to move quickly, making her particularly vulnerable to injury.
Given his high energy and need for consistent interaction, we feel strongly that a different environment would be more beneficial for his long-term happiness.
