Description:
Ollie is a sweet, affectionate, and cuddly dog who loves being around his people. He enjoys playing tug-of-war and fetch, and he’s always up for an adventure. Ollie also loves to chase birds, cats, and squirrels, so he should always be kept on a leash or in a secure yard. He also really loves snow!
He is crate trained and house trained, and he knows a variety of commands including “off,” “kennel,” “out,” “sit,” “lay down,” “heel,” and “up.” He’s a smart dog who enjoys structure and consistency.
Ollie’s ideal home would be with adults or older children who can respect his boundaries. He is not a good fit for homes with young children. He gets along with many spayed/neutered dogs, especially with proper introductions, but not all dogs. He was involved in a dog fight several years ago though after a slow introduction they now get along great!
Ollie was treated for heartworm several years ago and has since fully recovered. He is currently healthy and up to date on preventative care.
Ollie would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide him with continued structure, exercise, and clear communication. He thrives in a calm, consistent environment where he can relax and be part of the family.
He is a loving, loyal companion who will make a wonderful addition to the right home.
