Harvey is a 5 year-old Great Pyrenees who is affectionate, loyal, and loves being with his people. He enjoys cuddling, playing, going on adventures, and spending time outdoors. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, shake, and come.

Harvey cannot be placed in a home with children due to aggression toward young kids. He has also shown resource guarding and selective aggression toward some dogs, so slow, careful introductions to other pets are essential. He would do best with an experienced owner who is familiar with large guardian breeds and can provide consistent structure, exercise, and plenty of love.

This decision has been incredibly difficult for our family, and our highest priority is finding Harvey a safe, loving home where he can thrive. He has been the best loyal dog a girl could ask for, he just isn’t meant for kids.
