She loves all people. She’s very trainable. She is dog selective due to her past trauma. She has lived with other dogs and has gotten along with them when introduced carefully. Gracie is a 6-ish year old sweetheart who has been an incredible part of our family for the past 4 years. We rescued her from the wandering the Phoenix area desert where she was cruelly dumped shortly after having a litter of puppies. At the time, veterinarians estimated she was around 2 years old, and from the moment she was safe, all she wanted was love.

Gracie is truly the sweetest girl. She is gentle, affectionate, and would happily be a full-time lap dog if you let her. She is fully house trained, and has been amazing with our family. She bonds deeply with her people and just wants to be close, loved, and included.

She also has a playful side! Gracie loves to play, but she’s just as happy being a total “baked potato” sunbathing in the backyard on a hot summer day. She is not a beggar for food and has very polite manners around meals.

Unfortunately, after relocating to Utah, we are no longer able to keep her. We are renting, and due to her past trauma, Gracie can be dog-selective. Because of this, she will do best as an only dog or with very careful trained introductions. She will also need a secure yard with a taller fence, as she has learned she can hop fences and we want her to stay safe.
