Description:
We have made the very difficult decision to rehome him because we have a young toddler in our home, and we no longer feel our home is the best environment for him. He has become increasingly uncomfortable around our toddler and has shown some resource guarding behaviors with his toys and kennel, including growling when his boundaries are pushed. We want to take these warning signs seriously and find him the right home before an incident ever occurs.
He is a blue heeler with lots of energy and would thrive with someone who understands the breed and has the time and space to give him the exercise, structure, and attention he needs. With our current schedules and a young child, we aren’t able to provide that consistently anymore. We love him very much, and our biggest priority is finding him a safe, loving home where he can thrive. We believe he would do best in a home without young children and with someone experienced with active or herding breeds.
