This is a really hard post to make, but I’m looking for a new home for Tika. She’s a 7-year-old pure Shiba Inu who was once my dog, but when I moved out I couldn’t bring her with me because my spouse is allergic. She’s currently living at my mom’s house, but the situation isn’t working out.

Tika does have some food aggression, and because my mom has a much smaller dog who is afraid of her, it hasn’t been a good fit. She would likely do best in a home where she can be the only dog.

She’s really needs a home where she can run, get regular walks, and stay active. She is currently overweight as my mom’s lifestyle isn’t able to accommodate for the exercise she needs.

She’s a beautiful dog and deserves a home that can give her the time, space, and attention she needs. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please message me. I just want to find the best possible home for her.
