Pepper is a very smart and obedient dog. She’s reactive on leash, although she’s improved a lot since I started working with her. She’s friendliest off leash but barks at strangers who visit the home. She was with an elderly couple for most of her life and wasn’t exposed to much. I have introduced her to horses, hiking, walks everyday, dog parks and she loves it. She’s will nip/bite at others, so precautions like a muzzle in new situations would be wise. I have 2 older kids at home and she’s great with them. I used to have an elderly dachshund who she was fine around too. She plays well with other dogs but she can get a little aroused and sometimes in her herding mode that not all dogs like.

She’s never chewed on anything and I have left her all day while at work and she’s respected the house.

She loves fetch with the ball and tug of war with the rope. She will chew up stuffed animals.
