Gets along with cats and some smaller dogs than him, including our 20-lb dog. Doesn't get along with dogs bigger than him and small other dogs. Do not have him with children. He knows "Go bedtime," to go into his crate. Ideal home is a one-pet household or even one with a cat/s. Also, has a yard so he can run around. He will dig under a fence, though. A great home for him would include lots of walks on-leash.
