Description:
Ladybird is incredibly sweet and very intelligent! She loves to cuddle, go on walks, and play in the snow. She hates fireworks, lightning, and rain. The vast majority of the time she is very lazy (beyond managing household security) and does not require an abundance of exercise, but she can hang on longer hikes and even carrries her own pack without complaint.
She has undergone fairly extensive training and knows how to sit, stay, come when called, go to her designated place (her bed), 'wait', 'leave it', lay down, roll over, spin, shake paws, fist bump, and probably a few more that I forget. She is incredibly intelligent and quick to learn if you have anything else that you want her to know.
FAQ:
-- She weights around 50lbs but is very dense/ small.
-- I don't think she will do well in a home that has other dogs. She is protective of her owners with other dogs and it would be best to keep her separate. I know with the right training she will be less reactively protective with other dogs but I have not personally been successful.
-- She does go to boarding with other dogs and does fine!
-- I am uncertain how well she will do with cats but think she will do alright if they are introduced slowly.
-- She loves kids and does great with them. She is generally a gentle dog with humans, but can get excited with new people.
-- She has all updated vaccines and is microchipped. I have pet insurance for her as well.
