Jett is the happiest and friendliest dog I have ever had. He loves to make friends with any dog he meets, and is not aggressive at all. If he encounters an aggressive dog, we will retreat and won't fight. He has been around my younger nieces and nephews and is friendly, but because of his size and playfulness, he would be better suited with kids who are a little older. He is house trained and kennel trained, doesn't tear up furniture or shoes, and rides in a car well. He loves to go on walks and play in no leash areas with other dogs. He responds to all basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake) as well as commands like get back, leave it, and heel. He has been exposed to cats and isn't aggressive, but he is curious and wants to play with them. If I tell him to leave it, he won't mess with a cat and will retreat if the cat is defensive or swats at him. While he is kennel trained, he doesn't go in often at all, and will whine at first but won't panic or try to get out. I leave him out in my house all day while I work and he sleeps on his dog bed, and at night he sleeps on a dog bed in my room with me. He is so friendly and sweet. He can get a little anxious when he's outside alone because he just wants to be around people or another dog, but he doesn't claw at the fence or dig or try to get out. He just sits outside and looks through the window at you.
