It would be ideal if these dogs can be rehomed together. Gracie the black lab is a fun loving, jumping happy dog. She loves everyone and is always excited to see you.
Frankie the Heinz 57 is a lot more cautious. She takes time to warm up to people. She takes even longer to warm up to men. With Frankie it’s best to let her come to you and give her the time she needs to trust you. It took her three weeks of every day visits for her to warm up to me, but now we are great friends and she gives the best loves. I’m so sad to rehome these two great dogs but I have no other choice.
They both love to play fetch. They both can sit and come when called. Gracie can shake. Frankie does like to dig in the yard but I think that given enough excerise, walks and fetch that behavior would stop.
They do pull when on a leash but I’m sure they can be trained to walk comfortably on a leash.
