Active dogs, potty trained, kennel trained, they know sit, lay, shake, and stay. They do good with treats, okay with other dogs if introduced properly. The Akita can be a bit guarded around his food or toys. They do good with older children and like most people they love hiking and car rides and are used to going everywhere with us and having adventures and just aren't adapting well to haveing a baby around and the new lifestyle. The Shiba has some separation anxiety.
