Piper has never met a stranger, and will demand to be greeted by any visitors to the home. My friends have commented she behaves more like a dog than a cat, she's so chill and friendly. She's the ultimate snuggle bug and likes to be under the blanket with you for naps.
-Has lived with and ignores or tolerates: Children under 10, rabbits, other cats, and a tortoise. Don't recommend any other pets or young kids in the home unless they give her space. She gets withdrawn and anxious with excitable kids and other cats.
-Training: not food motivated and doesn't try to eat people food. Understands commands to get up, go outside, get off, and my favorite command, "Chill".
-Well trained not to scratch furniture, get on counters, eat house plants. Not overly vocal, but will meow if you're talking to her in a chatty way. She's lived in several upper floor apartments and is safe on an apartment patio alone.
Piper has been with me all of her 8 years and I couldn't imagine a better companion pet for an older person/couple. I am invested in her long-term happiness and I'm a willing source of information if anybody adopts her.
