Sunny & Stormy
Gender: Male
Weight: 10 & 5 Pounds
Age: 2 & 3 Years
Can Live With: Children 12+
Description:
I can’t tell you how sick we are about this. We love them so much and they really are the most amazing and special little guys. We are really trying to be intentional in finding their new forever home so that they can have the care they need.
They are completely caught up on all vaccines. They have had their teeth cleaned every year. They are in excellent shape.
Sunny:
He is around 9.5 / 10 lbs. He is SUPER smart and really wants to please you. He thrives with exercise and play! He is a big snuggler and lives for belly scratches.
Issues: He is highly protective and anxiety manifests in aggression. He is also territorial with chewies and toys. He has never shown aggression with food and honestly is so so sweet most of the time. He is jealous and needs lots of attention. He lunges at children specifically when they are crawling or running around. He has a hard time with new people as well and will charge at their feet. He is best when he is not in new stressful environment. He is so smart though and if everyone is safe he is very eager and a good listener. It’s just probably not safe with children.
Stormy:
He is around 4.5 / 5lbs. He also needs lots of scratches and attention. He adores being snuggled and likes to sleep under the blankets. He loves being scratched on the face. He is very goofy and wants to play fetch nonstop.
Issues: occasional aggression and marking. He has an issue of growling or lunging if he is touched or scratched in the wrong place. He also is very heightened around other dogs and barks / lunges at them. He is very territorial of his people (especially when he is snuggling on them and someone is intruding on his space) and with chewies. He also has a strong instinct to mark his areas. Lots of potential if he is in a single dog home and had a lot of monitoring and training.
Stormy has always been with Sunny and it would be a dream to rehome them together. I know that may not be possible and I just want to make sure they are in a home where they can thrive independently or together.. whatever is best. Willing to separate for the right owners.
