Ruby is a sweet and shy kitty. We brought her home from the Humane Society in December of 2019. She was about 6 months old at the time and was very shy and skittish. But she was the perfect cat for my very shy daughter. She loves to be petted but not held. We have never been able to get her comfortable with holding, but when either my daughter was sick or the times that I was recovering from surgery, she would come and lie on top of our chest, and purr. She is a beautiful kitty, with super soft fur, that is long but doesn't matt. She has big, beautiful eyes that can see right through you, I believe that she is just very sensitive to everything around her. Ruby is very clean, does well with her litter box, and loves her treats. She is a strictly indoor cat, but she will sit on a deck or porch to watch the birds and squirrels. She will also watch them on YouTube, lol. But since her "person" has been gone, she has become much more anxious. I am not around as much as my daughter was (I work), and she just doesn't seem to do well all alone. She would do well in a home with an older person or someone who works from home. She does not like children or being around loud people.
