Alexis has worked with animals her entire life. She worked at an animal shelter for 4 years while she got her degree in Veterinary Technology.  She moved to Utah in 2022 from Tennessee with her 2 cats, dog, and gecko. She started fostering for Best Friends Animal Society and then began working there a few months later. She is excited to now also help animals and people in another capacity at Ruff Haven.
